Terms & Conditions

All financial transactions and all lesson scheduling must be organised through the Platform. Find Instructor is not responsible for:

• Any personal or off-platform payment made directly between a learner and an instructor;
• Any personal harassment, misconduct or dispute arising outside the Platform;
• Any personal scheduling or cancellation arranged privately between the parties.

Any payment or booking made outside the Platform is done entirely at your own risk, and the Platform will have no record of, or liability for, such arrangements.

Instructors are charged a 15% commission on each withdrawal processed through the Platform. This commission is deducted from the instructor's earnings before the withdrawal is paid out. Withdrawals may be requested via Bank Transfer or PayPal using the details the instructor has registered on their profile. The Platform will review and process withdrawal requests in accordance with its standard payout schedule.

Learner cancellation: If a learner cancels a confirmed lesson within 12 hours of the scheduled start time, a 10% charge of that particular lesson's price will apply.

Instructor cancellation: If an instructor cancels a confirmed lesson with a learner, the instructor will receive 10% less on their next lesson, calculated according to the duration of the cancelled lesson.

Cancellations made through the Platform will be recorded and used to calculate any applicable fees. Off- platform cancellations are not recognised by the Platform.

Learners and instructors will not have access to each other's contact details (such as phone numbers or direct email addresses) until a connection has been fully completed and approved on the Platform. This safeguard exists to protect both parties and to ensure that bookings, payments and scheduling remain within the Platform.

You must provide accurate, truthful information when registering and must keep your details up to date. Instructors must hold a valid ADI or PDI badge and agree to have their badge expiry monitored by the Platform. Accounts found to be inaccurate, misleading, or in breach of these Terms may be suspended or removed at our discretion.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose;
• Attempt to bypass the Platform to avoid commission or fees;
• Harass, threaten or mislead other users;
• Share another user's contact details without their consent;
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications.

All lesson payments are recorded on the Platform. Where a dispute arises over a payment or lesson, it must be raised through the Platform's dispute process. Refunds, where applicable, are determined by the Platform based on the recorded booking and cancellation history. We are not liable for payments made privately between users.

Both learners and instructors agree to use the Platform's dispute mechanism to resolve disagreements relating to lessons, payments or cancellations. The Platform may mediate and issue a resolution based on the evidence provided by both parties. Off-platform disputes are outside our scope of responsibility.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Find Instructor is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of the Platform, including any personal payment, personal harassment, or personal scheduling cancellation conducted outside the Platform. Our liability is limited to the fees we have received in connection with the relevant booking.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
